What & Why

A retail electrical partner that opens the doors on schedule.

Retail rollouts are unforgiving. Fixture packages ship late, signage runs into landlord review, the visual-merch team arrives the day after final inspection, and grand-opening is in the brand calendar two months ahead.

We bid retail scopes against the brand fixture schedule, lock the long-lead items at submittal, and stage the work so accent aiming and dimmer commissioning happen the night before the merchandiser arrives.

Scope of Work

Six work phases, every retail scope.

1

Storefront & Service Power

Service entrance verified against the lighting and signage load. New sub-panel where the brand fixture package adds significant demand.

2

Track & Accent Lighting

Track runs roughed and circuited per the lighting designer's plan. Accent fixtures, in-case lighting, and dimmer drivers staged for commissioning.

3

Signage Circuits

Dedicated channel-letter / blade-sign circuits, time-clock or photocell control, exterior weatherproof terminations to the sign vendor's gear.

4

POS & Low Voltage

POS data drops, network rack, security cameras, door contacts, customer Wi-Fi back-haul — same C-10 crew, same bid as the power.

5

Security & Access Control

Controller rough-in, door strike wiring, fire/burglar alarm coordination, BGM speakers — terminated, tested, and turned over to the brand security vendor.

6

Punch & Owner Training

Walk-through with the visual-merch and store manager, dimmer scene programming, switching legends posted at every panel, training on time-clock overrides.

FAQ

Retail buildout questions, straight answers.

Yes. We work to brand fixture schedules, panel layouts, and signage circuits — and we deliver an as-built that the franchisor compliance team can drop straight into their site file.

Yes. Dedicated signage circuits, time-clock or photocell control, exterior weatherproof terminations, and final connect to the sign-vendor's gear are in our standard retail scope.

A 10,000–30,000 sqft mid-box bid is typically returned in 3–5 business days for a complete plan set, depending on long-lead fixture availability. Smaller boutique scopes come back in 48–72 hours.

Yes. Pre-open energization for stocking and visual-merch, temporary circuits for vendor installs, and night/weekend final cutovers are common — we plan the phasing in the bid, not on the fly.

Yes. Cameras, door contacts, motion sensors, controller terminations, and back-office network rack are pulled by our own C-7 / C-10 crew on the same bid as the lighting and power.
