Commercial Holiday Lighting — Storefronts, HOA Common Areas & Multi-Story Buildings

Professional holiday lighting for commercial properties — storefronts, business parks, HOA common areas, and multi-story buildings. Insured lift work, ADA-accessible routing, scheduled outside business hours.

Commercial-Scale Holiday Lighting

Lighting at commercial scale — lift work, off-hours install, code-compliant circuits.

Commercial holiday lighting has scope and timing constraints that residential installs do not: multi-story facades, accessible-route requirements, HOA board timelines, and tenants who need the property functional during install. YKCA handles all of it — our crew is insured for lift work, we schedule around your business hours, and we wire to dedicated GFCI-protected circuits as a code-compliant permanent or seasonal install.

We work with storefronts, retail strips, business parks, HOA common areas, and multi-story buildings across the Bay Area. For HOA projects we coordinate timing with property management and can provide photo documentation for board review. For multi-story facades, we confirm lift access and any ADA accessible-route requirements before the install date.

The same approach applies here as on every YKCA project: one insured C-10 crew, no subcontractors, one accountable contractor for the duration. If existing outdoor circuits are not in the right locations, we add them under our license as part of the same scope.

Part of our holiday lighting service — same insured C-10 crew, GFCI-protected outdoor circuits, $200 service call credited to the job.

What's Included

Commercial Displays, end to end.

Commercial display installs are scoped as proper electrical projects — not a seasonal crew with extension cords.

Insured Lift Work

Our crew is insured for elevated installations on multi-story storefronts, HOA buildings, and commercial facades — lift access confirmed during the site assessment.

Off-Hours Scheduling

Install and takedown scheduled before opening or after close to keep your property operational and accessible during business hours.

ADA Accessible-Route Compliance

Wiring paths and ground-level elements routed to maintain ADA-compliant walkways and accessible routes throughout the install period.

GFCI-Protected Commercial Circuits

All displays run on GFCI-protected outdoor circuits rated for commercial load. We add circuits under our C-10 license where existing infrastructure is inadequate.

HOA Documentation

Photo documentation and circuit diagrams available for HOA board review or property management records on request.

How It Works

From design walk to next-season reinstall.

Every holiday lighting project — seasonal or permanent — runs the same electrician-led, accountable workflow.

1

On-Site Design Walk

We walk the property, plan what to light, check exterior circuits, and confirm access and lift needs. The $200 service-call fee is credited to the job.

2

Custom Layout & Fixed Quote

A measured layout, color and brightness plan, and a fixed written quote — including any GFCI circuit work needed, added under our C-10 license.

3

Professional Install

Our insured W-2 crew installs to code on GFCI-protected circuits, programs the smart controller, and cleans up — no extension cords through a window screen.

4

Takedown, Storage & Reinstall

January takedown is included; strings are labeled and bagged for a faster, cheaper reinstall next season. Permanent LED systems stay up year-round.

Why YKCA for Holiday Lighting

Holiday lights installed by a licensed electrical contractor.

Most holiday installers are seasonal crews that run extension cords and disappear in February. YKCA does holiday lighting year-round as part of a standard C-10 electrical practice.

Licensed C-10 Contractor

Not a pop-up seasonal crew. Permitted, code-compliant exterior wiring under CSLB C-10 — verifiable on cslb.ca.gov.

100% W-2 & Insured Lift

Direct employees, insured for multi-story lift work — no day-labor, no liability gaps on your roof.

GFCI-Protected Circuits

Every string runs on a code-compliant, weather-sealed GFCI outdoor circuit — we add outlets under our license where needed.

Takedown & Storage Included

January takedown, labeled bins, and faster reinstall next year — included in the seasonal package, not an add-on surprise.

Smart-Controller Programming

Timer or phone-app control programmed before we leave — schedules and scenes ready to use without going outside.

One Accountable Contractor

One crew, one quote, one warranty — from the design walk through install and takedown. No subcontractor hand-offs.

FAQ

Commercial Displays questions, straight answers.

Yes. HOA common areas — entry monuments, parking lot trees, clubhouse facades, and perimeter fencing — are a routine scope for us. We coordinate with property management on timing, provide documentation for board approval where needed, and install on a schedule that minimizes disruption to residents.

Yes. Our crew is insured for lift work. We confirm lift access and approach during the site assessment — most multi-story commercial facades and Victorians in the Bay Area are in scope.

Off-hours scheduling is standard for commercial work. We coordinate the install window with your property manager or facilities contact and confirm access, parking, and lift staging logistics in advance.

We add them. As a licensed C-10 contractor we can install dedicated outdoor GFCI circuits on commercial properties — the circuit work is scoped and quoted as part of the overall lighting project.

Yes. Takedown is included in our standard seasonal package. For commercial properties we coordinate the takedown date with your property management team and document the removal for your records.
